Glass Beads
Lampwork or Glass sources
The Ultimate source for anyone interested in making glass beads is of course LE or Lampwork Etc. which has forums all all topics related and unrelated to glass. For instance there is a discussion form for metal clay, ceramics, fiber arts, jewelry, etc.
Online sources for all the goodies — glass rods, tools and necessities.
The Sales Rack form on Lampwork Etc. is where merchants post notices of sales and new products.

Tutorials from Glass artists, both free and fee
Glass artists/lampwork artists as a group are the most generous individuals I’ve come in contact with (also Metal clay artists fit into this creative/generous group). Both lampwork artists and metal clay artist post free tutorials on their websites. Many artist are sharing their highly complex designs and methods for a small fee, these tutorials are so well done in the word and photos of the step by step process of creating incredibly complex beads.
Diane Woodall and her sister Becky Mason offer both free and fee tutorials. You can access the free tutorials here.
Their fee tutorials are here. One is for shell focals, the second is for small shell beads, and the third is for animal prints.
